What Is the Brotherhood Code?
The MEN Brotherhood Code is the shared framework of values and commitments that every Circle member agrees to uphold. It is not a rulebook enforced from outside — it is a covenant made between brothers.
It exists because real growth requires real safety.
Real safety requires real commitment.
The Seven Commitments
1. Confidentiality
What is said in the Circle stays in the Circle. No exceptions. No social media. No gossip. The Circle is a vault.
2. Respect
Every brother is treated with dignity — regardless of his background, struggle, or stage of growth. No condescension. No dismissal.
3. Honesty
We speak truth — to ourselves and to each other. Not harshly, but clearly. We do not pretend. We do not perform.
4. Accountability
We keep our commitments. We challenge each other lovingly but firmly. Progress is not optional — it is the point.
5. Service
We give to each other freely. We support, encourage, celebrate, and mourn together. Brotherhood is not transactional.
6. Growth
We come to every Circle ready to grow. No complacency. No stagnation. Every session moves us forward.
7. Brotherhood
No man is left behind. No man is invisible. No man is less than a brother.
Living the Code
The Brotherhood Code is more than Circle meeting rules. It is a way of being:
- In the Circle — it governs how we speak and listen
- Outside the Circle — it governs how we represent MEN in our families and communities
- In leadership — it governs how Circle Leads and Chapter Leads serve their brothers
