Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about MENCircle and the MEN Movement.

About MEN & MENCircle

Who can join MEN?

MEN is for millennial men — born between 1981 and 1996 — who align with MEN’s values of brotherhood, growth, wealth, service, and legacy. Entry is based on character, commitment, contribution, and confirmation — not titles or status.

Is MEN a religious organization?

No. MEN is values-driven, not institution-driven. MEN welcomes men of all faiths and none. We do offer Faith-Friendly Circles for men who want a values-aligned brotherhood experience.

Is MEN free to join?

Joining MEN is free. Financial contributions to the MEN Cares Fund and other programs are voluntary but encouraged as part of the brotherhood ethos.

Is MEN only for millennial men?

Currently, MEN is focused on men born between 1981 and 1996. This is a deliberate focus — millennial men have unique challenges, opportunities, and responsibilities that MEN is specifically designed to address.

About Circles

What is a MENCircle?

A Circle is a group of 5–12 men who meet weekly or bi-weekly for real conversations, accountability, and mutual growth. Each Circle is guided by a trained Circle Lead and governed by the MEN Brotherhood Code.

How long are Circle meetings?

Typically 60–90 minutes.

What happens in a Circle meeting?

Each meeting follows a structured flow: Check-In → Wins & Lessons → Deep Dive → Accountability Round → Brother’s Blessing. Read more on the What Is a Circle? page.

Can I switch Circles?

Yes. Life changes, schedules change, and needs change. Reach out to your Circle Lead or MENCircle coordinator and we’ll help you find the right fit.

Is there a Digital Circle option?

Yes. Digital Circles are available for brothers in diaspora communities or regions without a local chapter. They operate online via video call and follow the same Circle structure.

Is what I share in a Circle kept private?

Yes. Confidentiality is the first commitment of the Brotherhood Code. What is said in the Circle stays in the Circle.

About Leading

Can I start a Circle?

Yes — if you are a MEN Active Member and complete the Circle Lead Orientation. See the Start a Circle page for full details.

What support does a Circle Lead receive?

Circle Leads receive: the Circle Lead Guide, meeting templates, accountability tools, MENGlobal support, and access to MEN Academy facilitation and leadership modules.

How do Circle Leads advance into Chapter leadership?

Through the MEN Leadership Pathway — observation, recommendation, service record, and affirmation by MENGlobal. See the Circle Pathway page for details.

Other Questions

How do I find a Circle near me?

Fill out the Join a Circle form and a MENCircle coordinator will match you with the most suitable Circle in your area or a Digital Circle.

How is MENCircle different from MENCentral and MENGlobal?

MENCircle is the community layer — where brotherhood is experienced. MENCentral.org is the movement home — vision, creed, and pillars. MENGlobal.org is the governance and leadership layer — chapters and structure. All three are part of the MEN Ecosystem.
